ACTION 100 Ceremony for First Graders at St Lucie Elementary

ACTION 100 scholars at St. Lucie Elementary School in Florida are on the move! On May 28th, the first-grade classrooms held a ceremony for students and their families to celebrate the tremendous reading growth made and applaud the families for their involvement. What a great way to end the school year!

"... On Thursday May 28th, the 1st grade classrooms at SLE put together an Action 100 ceremony for students and their families. The purpose of the ceremony was to celebrate the tremendous growth made throughout each classroom and to show the families of our students how high of an impact the program had an how much their support in implementation was appreciated. Dr. Dangerfield along with each classroom teacher, called students to walk across the stage and receive a certificate, pencil, and bookmark. Each classroom made a banner with the total steps and hours that were read, and each student traced their hands with their level and steps. The turn out was wonderful. So many parents approached me and discussed how happy they are with the program and the growth along with passion their children have for reading. I'm really proud of our students and our first grade team as a whole. I have attached some pictures from the ceremony. I hope you enjoy!"
