Afterschool Program Helps Students Climb to New Heights

It’s a natural pairing: ARC’s mission to get every child reading on or above grade level and Tree House Books’ desire to grow and sustain a community of readers, writers, and thinkers. The nonprofit organization’s after-school program gives neighborhood kids a welcoming place to spread their reading wings with 100 BOOK CHALLENGE materials and the guidance of college students, and both groups benefit from the experience.
