American Reading Company Honored by National Association for Bilingual Education
The National Association for Bilingual Education (NABE) recognized American Reading Company as their 2012 Exhibitor/Sponsor of the Year at the annual conference held in Dallas, Texas. The award was presented by Rossana Ramirez Boyd, Ph.D., President of NABE, to Allan Struzinski, President of American Reading Company, at the opening ribbon-cutting ceremony. The NABE conference is the largest gathering of parents, teachers, administrators, policy makers, future teachers, and professors dedicated to serving bilingual and English language learners in the United States.
“It’s an honor to receive the Sponsor of the Year award from NABE,” said Struzinski. “We are proud of our long relationship with NABE, and we are delighted to work alongside such committed and passionate professionals. We were particularly proud to announce our new partnership with Dr. Richard Gómez and Dr. Leo Gómez, founders of the Dual Language Training Institute. This new partnership, along with our existing partnership with Alma Flor Ada and F. Isabel Campoy, makes American Reading Company the complete resource for authentic Spanish literature with comprehensive support for schools implementing the Gómez Dual Language Enrichment model.”
