We’re thrilled to celebrate the release of Gemstones, the latest student-authored book published by American Reading Company (ARC). It was written by Camdyn, a student at Silver Lake Intermediate in Oconomowoc Area School District, Wisconsin.

This captivating book was created during the Geology unit of ARC Core® Fusion, ARC's innovative middle school curriculum. In recognition of her hard work and talent, ARC’s CEO honored Camdyn with a special presentation of her published book in front of her peers, family, and former teachers. Camdyn and Silver Lake Intermediate received multiple copies of the book, and now, students across the U.S. can access it within Fusion's digital platform.

Gemstones offers a unique and engaging look at geology, told through the eyes of a student. It’s a shining example of what’s possible when students engage in deep research and develop proficiency across various text types. ARC Core Fusion is designed to foster these skills while making learning meaningful and exciting.
