Sampit Elementary students rise to the challenge in reading program

Sampit Elementary, a 100 BOOK CHALLENGE school in Georgetown, South Carolina, has received Palmetto Silver and Gold awards since 2002, and they have met AYP since 2004. The Title One school is also a National Blue Ribbon School. Part of their success story? The culture of reading and high expectations that have blossomed as students devour books daily, meeting and exceeding their goals with pride and excitement!
