Summer Results Worth Publishing
Every student has a story to tell. For Kerly, a teenager from Ecuador, one summer of dedicated learning led to something extraordinary—her research and writing became a published book.
During a summer program using ARC’s Summer Semester curriculum, Kerly improved her English proficiency and researched sea turtles. By the end of the summer, she had crafted a compelling, well-researched book about sea turtles. Kerly’s final writing product was so exceptional, it was published as part of ARC's classroom research libraries, inspiring students nationwide to discover their own talents as writers.
Kerly’s success is just one example of the incredible work students produce through ARC’s structured literacy solutions. When students engage in meaningful research and writing, they not only improve academically but also gain confidence in their ability to share their ideas with the world.
